Outdoor Adventure Camp
Kids can enjoy the beautiful outdoors at Sugarloaf Outdoor Adventure Camp. Kids from 6-13 can register for daily, 3 day, and weekly adventures. Camp activities can include swimming, archery, tennis, golf, and fly fishing instructions. Educating the young ones about the importance of Mother Nature is the main goal of the camp.

Master Maine Guide Bonnie Holding has been teaching fly fishing around the country for the past 20 years. New this year, Bonnie is offering a Fly Fishing School at the Sugarloaf Outdoor Center every Tuesday from 1pm – 4:30pm. This covers everything from tying knots to casting.

When visiting the area, make sure to take the Moose Cruise. No trip into the mountains of Maine will ever be complete without seeing these majestic animals of the wild. The local expert will guide you to where the best hot spots are for viewing. Reservations recommended.

At the base of Sugarloaf lies the Antigravity Complex, a sprawling 20,000 square foot facility that boasts Maine’s largest indoor skate park. There are a series of activities to choose from. From wall climbing, to skateboard lessons, one is guaranteed to enjoy the experience.

Tennis is a wonderful sport. Now, everybody can learn. At Maine Pines Racquet and Fitness Tennis Camp, one can enroll and have the time of their lives. They offer classes for teens and adults alike. Courts are located behind the Sugarloaf Inn and at the Snowbrook Village. Reservations required.

Yes there is gold. Located in Sugarloaf, one can rent panning equipment and feel the gold rush. With the scenic view of the outdoors and wildlife, this activity is sure to please anybody from kids to grand parents. The Coos Canyon Rock and Gift Shop offer panning instructions, equipment, and even ice cream.

Unique Natural Areas
If you like hiking, Sugarloaf and the western mountain of Maine are filled with unique and breathtaking areas. One can go for a walk on one of the numerous trails that abound the area. Maps can be bought at any of the local shops as well as spotting equipment like binoculars.
