  4. Ogden City was the official Venue City for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. The Ice Sheet located on the campus of Weber State University held the medal rounds for men and women’s curling. Snowbasin Ski Resort located 17 miles east of Ogden hosts all of the alpine speed events including Downhill, Super G and Combined competitions. Speed and technical alpine events for the Paralympic Games are also held here.
